Disaster Water

Just a quick post. Came across this and thought that is was an innovative way of quickly storing water in an emergency.

Many people that are on municipal know that once the power goes out you may only have a short amount of time with good water pressure if you are in an area that is pump dependent. This item is a pretty good way to make use of that short amount of time of water pressure to build up a quick supply. More info direct from the manufacturer is here: http://www.waterbob.com/Welcome.do
The cheapest I have found this item so far is in the Cheaper than Dirt catalog and website where it is around $20.

Obviously this is a temporary solution for a short period of time. I have said it before and I will say it again, the best place for information on long term water storage can be found by visiting the Red Cross or Cornell Cooperative Extension.
